Dog Trainer
Reynolds Dog Resort West Linn is looking for a certified dog trainer to join our team! Must be experienced with behavior modification.
Responsibilities:
- Meet dogs and create individual training plan for the dog
- Understand a pet parent’s needs and listen to their concerns
- Teach pet parents about dog behavior
- Teach commands to the dog and pet parent
- Treat all dogs with compassion and dignity
- Teach pet parents how to reinforce good behavior
- Communicate clearly with pet parents and other staff members
- Follow procedures for the safe handling of all pets
Requirements:
- Professional dog training experience in both basic obedience, advanced training and behavior modification
- Up to date certification
- Knowledge of different dog breeds
- Excellent communication skills and customer service.
- Flexible schedule.
- Treat all animals with compassion and dignity.
