Job Purpose: To inspect (complete accurate multi point inspection), maintain, and repair automobiles that run on electricity, gasoline, or alternative fuels like ethanol. Execute basic car maintenance like tires, oil changes, belts, hoses, batteries, wipers, etc.
You will…
- Test batteries
- Mount and balance tires / rotate tires
- Drive the vehicle for testing purposes if necessary
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in performing the multi point vehicle inspection and performing maintenance on vehicles
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
You have…
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Good knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Should be able to operate basic electronic diagnostic equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical degree preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in service department
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Computer Skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- A desire to meet personal work related goals as well as company goals.
