What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locker Room Attendant - Creek Club position at Reynolds Lake Oconee?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interacts with members and guests.
- Polishes and cleans shoes at the request of members and guests.
- Changes out soft spikes and shoes laces upon request.
- Maintains amenities and overall condition within the locker room facilities.
- Coordinate with Professional Staff to complete weekly and monthly inventories.
- Coordinate with Professional Staff to place all orders for Locker Room supplies.
- Maintain an organized and clean Locker Shoe Room area.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities May be Required as Follows:
- Outside Operations- duties include but not limited to:
- Cart Attendant:
- Responsible for preventive maintenance of golf cart fleet per cart maintenance logs to include checking tire pressure, changing tires, watering the batteries, and detailing the carts as required.
- Counts, washes, and charges all golf carts daily.
- Stocks and stages golf carts for daily play.
- Launders golf towels.
- Responsible for maintenance, cleaning, and appearance of cart facility and bag room facility.
- Responsible for inventory and ordering supplies needed in cart facility.
- Responsible for inventory and maintenance on all rental clubs.
- Maintains radio or other contact with the shop for up-to-date information on a regular basis.
- Assists in other areas related to the Outside Operation as needed.
- Practice Facility Attendant:
- Responsible for the daily set-up and breakdown of the practice stations and overall practice areas- Warm-up & Bunker Bend practice areas.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance and organization of the short game & full swing practice areas.
- Responsible for nightly rotation and organization of practice teeing grounds- Warm-up & Bunker Bend locations.
- Organization and cleanliness of the practice facility buildings.
- Responsible throughout the day to pick up and clean all golf balls hit onto the practice facility areas.
- Coordinate with Professional Staff all preventive maintenance of the utility vehicles and range picker used at the practice facility
- Course Advisor- duties include but not limited to:
- Greets golfers at first and tenth tee and facilitates the start of play.
- Enforces the rules of play on golf course (example: cart path rule).
- Maintains that pace of play standards.
- Assists players on course with weather appropriate services.
- Keeps non-playing traffic off the course (children, dogs, etc.).
- May direct golfers as to special circumstances for play that golf maintenance recommends.
- Assists groups with raking of bunkers, spotting of golf balls, and other related services.
- Assists with setting up of practice facility prior to start of play.
- Maintains amenity and sanitation standards for on-course water coolers.
- Marks courses, which involves walking lengthy areas of course with various slopes.
- Periodically assists staff with maintenance of golf carts including the changing of tires.
- Keep accurate records of play.
- Maintain, clean and inventory food and beverage levels at all Honor stations.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- Some knowledge of golf preferred.
- Familiar with rules of golf.
- Golfing experience desired.
- Outgoing, friendly and diplomatic personality.
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time (minimum of 2 hours at a time).
- Customer service experience desired.
- Must have conflict resolution experience.
- Good people skills with the ability and willingness to provide service to people of all ages.
- Physical ability to work quickly and thoroughly.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, knell, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular daily basis.
- Must be able to stand up to 80% of the day.
- Must have good manual dexterity.
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold based on the season.
