Recreation Staff - Part Time Seasonal Position (Summer 2025)

Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparation of the planned schedule by: gathering materials, researching instructions, and set-up of the designated play use area.
• Prepares the pool, bath house and deck for daily use.
• Assist in upkeep and cleanliness of the pool and pool deck.
• Prepares non-motorized water rentals.
• Supervises pool, pool deck, deck, and water slides to ensure member & guest safety.
• Instructs members & guests on how to use water rentals.
• Carries out the policies and rules of the recreation department.
• Gives assistance to participants as needed.
• Insures that all guests meet the membership requirements by greeting and checking swimmers into facility.
• Assists Recreation team in other pool and land events as needed.
• Keeps records and reports on activities.

Qualifications:

• CPR/AED certified (can obtain upon hire).
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Sound physical condition to be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
