The assistant store manager assists the store manager with day-to-day operations of the store to meet company objectives for sales, margin, inventory, customer service, employee relations, store appearance and product presentation.
Applicant must have:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Management experience preferred
- Outgoing, friendly, positive, professional and energetic team player
- Strong communication skills
- Possess organizational skills and leadership skills
- Maintains working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals.
- Be willing and able to learn the operation of all store departments and be able to work in all depts.
- Be personable and approachable for all team players
- Be able to handle controversy among team members and effectively resolve issues, and create a fun, uplifting work environment.
