The Opportunity
RS&H is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation Practice in our Timonium, MD office!

Essential Functions :
- Provides general support to the Traffic Engineering Team by conducting various studies and developing solutions for addressing safety, traffic congestion, and multimodal transportation needs.
- Performs basic traffic engineering tasks, including safety / crash analysis, traffic operations analysis, and capacity analysis.
- Prepares documentation and technical reports for traffic engineering studies.
- Performs as-needed field reviews and observation for evaluating field conditions and assessing typical traffic operations and safety conditions.
- Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and practices that are pertinent to respective discipline.
- Performs all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice.

Hiring Salary Range : ($91,770 - $146,855) — for this location only. The final agreed upon compensation is commensurate with experience relative to the position and / or primary work location.
