As a School Psychologist with Reynoldsburg City Schools, you will play a critical role in supporting students' mental health, academic success, and overall well-being. Success in this role means fostering a positive learning environment by conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure student success. Your contributions will directly impact student achievement and emotional growth while strengthening the overall support system within the district.
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to support students' learning and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services when needed.
- Assist in the development of special education programs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Advocate for student needs and promote a positive school climate through training and consultation.
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Certification: Ohio Department of Education licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Skills: Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills; excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience: Experience working in a school setting preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
