Job Summary
The Billing Representative will help improve our billing-related needs for a fast-paced and quickly growing Radiology Services Organization (RSO).

Essential Functions of a Billing Representative
- Responsible for the timely verification of medical insurance benefits for both admission and pre-admission visits.
- Confirm eligibility; verify specific benefit coverage, and ensure appropriate data (pre-certification, authorizations & tracking numbers) has been obtained and documented into the registration system to secure reimbursement.
- Full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Shin imaging Center.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with Shin imaging’s core values.
- Support with the processing of disbursements and other payments to key stakeholders and departments
- Assist with the reconciliation of patient refund check disbursements and coordinate the return of refund checks.
Education and Experience
- High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of Insurance Verification/Billing experience required.
