Job Summary:
The Tech Aide will assist Technologists in multiple capacities and display a compassionate, positive, and upbeat disposition in interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Duties:
- Confirms physician orders are complete and includes signature, ordered study, reason for test (diagnosis/CPT codes) and obtains missing information prior to treatment
- Confirms levels of supplies and equipment to meet requirements for patient care and/or specific departments
- Assumes responsibility for cleanliness and sanitation of the immediate work area and maintains orderliness
- Assists patients prior to procedures
- Aides technologist in transferring and moving of patients wheelchairs, procedure tables
- Handles reception and clerical duties as required
- May assist using image transferring software, upload and transfer images to discs for patients
- Demonstrates safe, quality patient care
Responsibilities:
- Delivers a high level of patient care and customer service to promote patient satisfaction
- Supports imaging goals and objectives
- Provide support to the technical staff in all modality area
- May be required to work at other Southtowns locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have more than 2 years in a customer service role
- Ability to display a compassionate, positive, and upbeat disposition in interactions with patients and colleagues
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Ability to follow direction and provide accurate reports

Position Type/Expected Hourse of Work
- Saturdays from 7am-1pm and cover other shifts as needed
