Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently, we are searching for a Security Analyst to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.
This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position, not offering sponsorship, or C2C, that sits fully onsite in southeastern Alabama.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor security events from various tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms, to identify potential security incidents.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root causes, impact, and extent, and coordinate with response teams to mitigate threats.
- Assist in implementing, configuring, and managing security tools to optimize performance for threat detection and prevention.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses and provide recommendations for improving system security.
- Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods through ongoing research and threat intelligence sources.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure effective response during potential incidents.
- Document security incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting for management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent industry certifications and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security solutions such as IAM, NGFW, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and XDR.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail when analyzing incidents and identifying risks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
