Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Database Administrator to fulfill an immediate vacancy.
Technical Profile:
- Minimum of two years experience in a technical role with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQL Reporting Services.
- Demonstrates experience with and interest in Cloud and next-Generation data technologies (e.g. Azure Data Services, PowerBI, Alteryx, SSAS Tabular, etc.).
- Demonstrates working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (any Oracle experience is a bonus)
- Demonstrates working knowledge of T-SQL and Powershell.
- Demonstrate ability to develop, communicate and train on best practices.
- Automation mind-set
- Experience with industry-standard, third-party management tools is strongly desired.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Focused and driven with superb problem-solving attributes.
- Experience with technical, user documentation, and training is a plus.
- Familiarity with Nonprofit Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud is a plus.
- Agile Methodology experience highly preferred (Kanban, User Stories, Sizing, Retro, etc)
- Business analysis experience with ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Understanding of change management methodologies is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or combination of experience and education.
Position Responsibilities:
- Investigate and learn new and emerging database technologies (e.g. Azure data technologies) with an eye to selecting and implementing the right solution for project teams and the business.
- Build, configure, and administer new database servers, databases, objects, and ETL as required to support the business.
- Monitor current databases and database servers for performance, stability, and scalability.
- Develop and implement improvement plans for performance and standards
- Communicates and collaborates with project delivery teams to ensure implementation of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Mentor delivery teams on best practices
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, participate in an on-call rotation, and have experience responding to client needs as raised in Service Desk tickets.
Immediate start; full time W2 contract engagement with intention of a merit based conversion to employee. The conversion is not based on months in the role, rather quality of work, work ethic, etc...
Hybrid schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote is required.
