Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and computer networking to ensure the effective operation of surveillance technologies.
Duties
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, recording devices, and associated hardware.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all surveillance equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems and cabling.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installations.
- Document all service calls, repairs, and installations accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Provide training to clients on the proper use of CCTV systems as needed.
Skills
- Certification in relevant fields such as electrical or low voltage systems is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in cabling and installation of fire alarm systems is a plus.
- Proficient in computer networking principles to support system integration.
- Ability to detect issues quickly and provide effective solutions as a service technician.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
