Jordan & Sons is a heavy earthwork contractor that provides both residential and commercial services. We have a wide variety of equipment, as well as, trained team of 50 employees working in multiple crews in the Ellsworth area which allows our employees to be home every night!
R.F. Jordan & Sons Construction, Inc. is looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. A construction foreman has a solid background in the field. Your leadership skills and your experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers
Job Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Experience as construction foreman
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Trainings & Certificates: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Erosion Control, MSHA, Hazwoper, Confined Space, CPR First Aid
- Maintain Valid Drivers License

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
