Description

Skyworks is seeking a full-time Principal Product Engineer for our Austin, TX based Power/Isolation team! The candidate will lead cutting edge Mixed Signal Power/Isolation products from prototype to production. You will be working closely with engineers across multiple functional teams. This position includes responsibility for both development and sustaining activities requiring the ability to multitask between several projects.

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction for Mixed Signal Power/Isolation product line
• ATE, Probe, and Characterization data analysis and summary reports
• Developing production ATE test specifications
• Creating and managing product documentation
• Providing product development support which involves interfacing with Marketing, Design, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, and others
• Driving cost reduction activities such as second sources qualification, yield enhancement, test time reduction, etc.
  
  

Required Experience And Skills

• BSEE and 12 years’ or MSEE and 8 years' experience as Product Engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with data analysis software such as JMP, Exensio, Minitab
• Strong data analysis skills, electronics manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to debug production and development issues, such as on ATE or bench characterization.
• Experience with technical and detailed documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational capability
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional and cross-site teams, foster teamwork
  
  

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $126,500 - $241,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
