Located in Milpitas, CA in Silicon Valley, our team is actively seeking an Engineering Student Intern to support cutting edge products for high-reliability industries (aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial). The ideal candidate will start in June 2025 and continue working full-time through August 2025, accommodating their academic schedule.
The successful candidate will work with our Quality Engineering team variably to work with product and process specifications, quality management system and military specification. This is a hands-on role working with Quality Manager on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, process, test engineers and operations in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Team player with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Collection and analysis of production process yield data
- Perform inspection of semiconductor elements
- Work with Quality Engineer on projects
- Working towards a technical degree such as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Interest in learning to work in various quality assurance processes, including data review, process specification generation and review, process improvement and corrective actions
