As a Senior Associate-Business Strategy and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm’s growth, partnering with cross-functional teams, and delivering actionable insights to leadership.

You’ll lead critical initiatives, including budgeting and forecasting, while collaborating with the C-Suite and Board of Directors to refine financial strategies that align with our ambitious goals.

Location:
- This position may be remote or located in Birmingham, AL office.
- If in Birmingham, we offer a hybrid schedule 3-days in-office, 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial processes that support business operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor core metrics, KPIs, and industry trends, providing insights to guide decision-making.
- Prepare and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and other financial insights to leadership, offering actionable recommendations to drive business performance.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Create comprehensive business cases and project plans for key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the CFO and stakeholders to refine monthly reporting packages for C-Suite and the Board of Directors.
- Own deliverables for Board and executive meetings, including preparing agendas, conducting analyses, and tracking action items.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, business development, and technology, to address financial needs and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial insights to support Business Development and Marketing efforts, developing analytical frameworks to track performance effectively.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably alongside experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or private equity.
- Hands on experience with financial planning and analysis, company strategy, operational planning and execution.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Prior experience supporting or covering growth-stage financial services, FinTech or SaaS business
