In this critical role, you will act as the primary point of contact for advisors transitioning to RFG and as a hands-on leader driving the transition process. You will oversee each transition step to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless experience that positions new advisors for long-term success with RFG. If so, we want you on our team! The Senior Director of Advisor Onboarding is a leader and will lead two teams and oversee the full transitions processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company objectives. This role focuses on optimizing workflows, managing advisor transitions, and supporting advisors both during and after their onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, custodial processes, and transitions, ensuring smooth, structured onboarding and providing ongoing support for growth.

Location:
- This position is located in Birmingham, AL. We offer a hybrid schedule 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
- Remote work will be considered for the right candidate. If remote, regular travel to Birmingham will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for new advisors, addressing questions and concerns to ensure a smooth transition experience.
- Lead, facilitate, and deliver weekly calls, providing strategic guidance to align advisors with timelines and goals.
- Lead two separate departments of leaders, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement in the transitions process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, adapt, and refine transition strategies for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactively understand the unique needs of each advisor and the firm, leveraging deep industry knowledge and research to offer tailored solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and innovative models to evolve and influence transition strategies continuously.
- Identify process gaps and areas for improvement, offering actionable insights that enhance overall efficiency and advisor satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a streamlined, structured process that supports seamless advisor transitions, ensuring all advisor needs are anticipated and met.
- Oversee asset tracking and quality control to ensure accuracy and smooth onboarding throughout the transition.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, with 5 years of proven experience in an operational leadership role.
- Experience in custodial operations and/or advisor transitions is required. (Fidelity, Schwab, and Pershing Custodian experience preferred.)
- Project management experience is a plus but not required.
