Electrical Foreman/Lead Man

Workload/Contracted Projects:
At our shop, there is no slow season. We have a variety of residential developments and commercial projects lined up, ensuring steady work for our teams through 2025. All projects are located in Nassau & Suffolk counties, offering electricians and junior mechanics ample opportunities for overtime. We consistently bid on projects every week to guarantee work for our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising small-medium sized crews of 2-8 mechanics and junior mechanics.
- Reading drawings and laying out work areas.
- Creating material lists and utilizing job tracking forms.
- Installing EMT & PVC conduit, M/C, THHN & NMC cable, metal & plastic boxes, electrical panels, meter pans, switchboards, overhead & underground services.
- Handling troubleshooting, service calls, and repairs.
- Operating electrical test equipment, hand and power tools.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to facilitate project progress
- Enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment- Working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus overtime.
Job Requirements:
- Must have Residential and Commercial experience
- Must have Valid Driver License
- Must be motivated, responsible and reliable
- Must have experience running crews of 3 years
- Must be able to scale drawings and read construction plans
- Must be able to track materials and forecast for weekly material orders for team
- Must be able to multitask between projects
Skills/knowledge of:
- Low, Medium & High voltages
- Electrical test equipment
- Electrical systems
- Hand & power tools
- Blueprint reading
