We are seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman/Lead Man to join our esteemed non-union electrical shop, known for delivering exceptional electrical installations and maintenance. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction underpins our reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise small teams of 1 to 4 mechanics and junior mechanics.
- Interpret and analyze drawings to effectively layout work areas.
- Compile material lists and utilize job tracking forms efficiently.
- Install EMT & PVC conduit, M/C, THHN & NMC cable, and associated electrical components.
- Manage electrical panels, meter pans, switchboards, and both overhead and underground services.
- Conduct troubleshooting, service calls, and necessary repairs.
- Operate electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools with proficiency.
- Maintain a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and layouts.
- Strong experience in the installation of conduits and electrical components.
- Knowledgeable in the operation of electrical panels and services.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs reliably.
- Familiar with electrical testing equipment and tools essential for the profession.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical field is required.
- A valid Driver’s License is necessary.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for job-related tasks.
