What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at RFI Ingredients?
RFI LLC is looking for a full-time 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to support shift processes and facility operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation, set-up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all production equipment
- Facility maintenance, general HVAC, plumbing, electrical
- Assist with training of production employees and the use, setup/take down and cleaning of equipment
- Generate shift report, recording resolutions or issues
- Maintain records with regards to FDA, cGMP, and SOP standards
- Requisition of supply and parts for equipment as needed
- Work with Management, Quality and Production Mangers to resolve problems found
- Responsible for spare part inventory for designated equipment or processes
- Participate in all annual trainings
- Preform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in working with similar machinery in a cGMP environment such as powder fillers, check weighers, metal detectors, CIJ, and label machines.
- Basic understanding of HMI, and VFD controls
- Ability to multitask and prioritize jobs
- Ability to read and write in English
- Good communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Some overtime and weekends may be required
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 50pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with kneeling or squatting frequently
RFI LLC offers competitive market base pay rates with benefits packages. The final rate may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience.
