Purpose
To provide the Maintenance Department with support for kitting and staging of parts for work orders as well as overall storeroom operations for inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for picking and kitting items for maintenance jobs and work orders
- Inspects kitted items for accuracy and keeps maintenance technicians informed of completed kits and all related details
- Coordinates with Corporate Storeroom Inventory Coordinator for Item Master Entry
- Responsible for all binned storeroom items
- Prepare worksheet for new item numbers

Electronically issues and returns all storeroom items within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and assists maintenance technicians with requisition entry
- Responsible for processing of all specialty tooling in the tool room
- Maintain storeroom cleanliness, organization and item consolidation
- Place barcodes in front of items when needed
- Organize and maintain storeroom for efficiency
- Assist maintenance personnel locating desired items
- Manage VMI areas for overages, stock outs and cleanliness
- Attend and collaborate during storeroom committee meetings
- Notify purchasing technician of returned items and adjustment of inventory
- Collect barcodes for issued inventory and submit to one location daily
- Continuous process improvements in satellite locations (cleaning, item identifying, item relocation)
- Knowledge and understanding of vendor site requirements to ensure safety and policy enforcement during vendor visits
- Interface with maintenance to ensure needs are met
- Maintain packaging Items, cardboard, and recycling within stores
- Validate storeroom inventory to ensure removal of obsolete parts

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of supply work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position
- Proficient in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Proficient knowledge of computer and supporting software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Project)
- Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of maintenance policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge of plant operations and supply needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, time-management and attention to detail skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in business, manufacturing, production or related field
- Proficient knowledge of Infor (EAM)
- Material management experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes
