Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of clinical charts, documentation, records, etc. This position is vital to maintaining the quality standards and efficacy of our behavioral health services. This role will focus on maintaining the integrity of RFS Behavioral Health by ensuring guidelines and processes follow all Federal, State, CARF and Agency mandates. Collaborates on the day-to-day operations with the on-site clinical and operational teams.
Duties
- Completion of required quantitative reviews of client charts to ensure it meets all requirements and standards.
- Completion of qualitative audits to ensure aspects like medical necessity, service frequency and other aspects are as required
- Establish and maintain auditing processes to ensure quality assurance measures are met
- Maintain detailed auditing data including workload details and documented audit findings, recommendations, and corrections in a manner that will allow this data to be categorized, tracked, and trended for analytics.
- Report audit findings, recommendations, and corrections to internal leadership. Complete follow up activities as directed.
- Stay informed about changes in CARF and OHMHAS standards and ensure compliance.
- Complete assigned quantitative audits and communicates problems per established procedures
- Train staff on quality assurance practices and procedures to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Maintains agency compliance with meeting licensure standards and quality results with agency standards
Preferred Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in social services or healthcare field/focus or equivalent degree
- At least two (2) years of specialized experience and/or training in clinical standards within the behavioral health realm
