Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that align with developmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and respect among students.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor children's development and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall well-being of each child.
  • Stay informed about current trends in early childhood education, including standardized testing and early intervention strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all child welfare regulations and standards within the preschool setting.

Experience

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with tutoring techniques and individualized support for children with diverse needs is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive relationships with students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • North Chelmsford, MA 01863: Relocate before starting work (Required)
