Our client, a privately owned commercial contracting company, is looking to add a strong administrative person to their team. This newly created role will be reporting to the Office Manager and will be responsible for everything from the front desk duties to assisting the Office Manager and Controller. There will be some things that fall to you and the rest will be overflow or supporting work for just about anything in this three person front office.
The right candidate will have:
· Experience in front office supporting roles (MS Office suite, handling incoming phone calls, distributing mail and other information)
· Strong administrative skills for vendor contracts, invoicing, communicating information from field to office and in reverse
· Ability to juggle many balls, adhere to deadlines and not lose sight of the urgency of the folks in the field
· Thick skin to deal with a variety of personalities
· Experience in some sort of commercial construction, contracting or other technical service industry (not medical, legal or professional services)
Great opportunity to work with a small team who all have the same goal: make the office run smoothly, take care of clients and get the right information to the right people the first time around. Salary is $65 - $70k plus benefit package. Probably a 45 hour work week, some additional after hours work (in cases of emergencies where the field staff need support). This position is located on the east side of Brighton.
