International Logistics Sales Executive

What Will Set You Apart

  1. Minimum of 4 years' experience in Freight Forwarding or International Logistics.
  2. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Sales role(s).
  3. Ability to determine shippers’ needs and know how to earn their business.
  4. Find and participate in events on behalf of RFX.
  5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.


What You’ll Do

The International Sales Executive role at RFX is perfect for an individual who has at least 4 years of experience in the freight forwarding/brokerage space. The ideal candidate should be competent across the spectrum of activities required for success - from the customer side,  landing business and managing/expanding accounts to the carrier side, knowing the market, processes, timelines and documentation. We expect our sales reps to be comfortable managing shipments from start to finish but will support you with resources and staff to focus your strengths in the areas you love. With an uncapped commission structure, you will lay the groundwork for financial freedom and build your own book of business while having the ability to recruit, train and hire support staff as needed.

  1. Create strategies to obtain new business (generate leads, make cold calls) and expand existing accounts.
  2. Be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  3. Complete sales activities (outbound phone calls/emailing prospects) and log all activities in CRM.
  4. Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for your customers.
  5. Manage issues that occur before, during or after transit.
  6. Own freight acceptance & commitments to awards and spot opportunities.
  7. Manage load volumes and work with your team on execution.
  8. Develop knowledge of your accounts to include all shipping points, receiving points, and create assessments of account opportunity.
  9. Develop and maintain strategic multi-level customer relationships to uncover specific needs and behaviors of key decision makers.
  10. Close accounts that move the needle for RFX.
  11. Be purposefully positive and encourage your peers.
  12. Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.
