Role Responsibilities & Requirements:
Concrete flatwork for new residential construction is our bread and butter, however we work on existing residential projects, and commercial jobs. We’re seeking a qualified individual that has mastered the craft and can handle all aspects of concrete flatwork and has a great personality - you’ll be leading crews and no one wants to work for a dick. Here are some requirements and responsibilities:
- At least 5 years of experience in concrete flatwork, with experience in leadership positions.
- Work side by side with your crew and promote a learning environment, provide on-the job training and guidance to improve crew members’ skills and efficiency.
- Understand project plans and specifications and be able to identify concrete mixes and determine materials, equipment, and procedures required to achieve desired results.
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment where every minute counts, and efficiency is key. Bring your sense of humor to work as we like to have fun even while working our asses off.

- Identify and address any issues or concerns related to the project, including safety hazards, weather, or quality control issues, and find solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of square footage and materials used for each project and communicate with Project Manager to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Lead and inspire your crew members by setting a positive tone and ensuring their happiness and productivity through effective task delegation and communication.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, and ensure equipment is clean and loaded/unloaded from company trucks/vans with the help of the crew. CDL is a plus, and we will pay for this!
What a Typical Workday Looks Like
Your typical work week will be Monday – Friday, about 45 hours and paid overtime. Enjoy weekends off and paid holidays!
Before 6:15AM: Arrive at the shop to fill your water jugs, grab some Gatorade, hit up the vending machines, and get your gear. Meet with leadership to get on the same page for the day.
6:15AM: Attend the daily huddle and load up the work trucks.
6:30AM: Leave the shop for the job site in company trucks. Your payday starts now and ends when you leave the shop for the day.
9:00AM – 10:00AM: Somewhere within this time you’ll enjoy a 15-minute paid break.
11:00AM – 1:00PM: Somewhere within this time you’ll enjoy a 30-minute lunch.
4:00PM – 5:00PM: Wrap it all up and head home (Fridays tend to be a little shorter).
