Some of your responsibilities include the following :
- Lead the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex projects particularly in the Commercial Interiors sector.
- Work with and oversee younger HVAC staff on projects
- Formulate design criteria, perform calculations, develop concept designs, specifications, and construction documents for high performance building systems.
- Supervise and effectively manage technical development throughout all phases of design ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with company standards and good engineering practice.
- Develops mechanical plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks.
- Technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing filed investigation or inspections.
- Knowledge and experience with mechanical calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, hydronic systems, and construction documents.
- Understand Revit to allow leadership and direction for the design teams.
- Attending field visits, develop visit reports, meet with contractors, as necessary.
