Leads and manages a team of associates to deliver training. This encompasses the entire Instructional Design life cycle, including long term training plans, identification of department resource / tool needs, analysis of learning solutions needs and requirements, course structure, development of learning-based solutions materials, delivery of training and follow-up evaluations. Designs communications to explain and illustrate process and system changes for multi-functional division audience. Performs managerial duties, including developing and mentoring associates. Establishes strategic and tactical plans, preliminary budgets, objectives, goals and processes to protect and assure RGAs long-term success. Ensure departmental alignment and coordination with other areas of the company to achieve corporate business strategies and vision. Responsible for ensuring execution of department goals and objectives.
What you will do
- Performs leadership and management duties for associates who perform routine to complex duties, including, but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining direct reports. Fosters a positive and engaged work environment. Mentors associates and gives guidance on associate development.
- Assesses projects, develops plans, and assigns and assesses work of staff.
- Works with all departments in Global Operations and other departments within RGA to identify and resolve learning-based problems / issues.
- Develops relationships with and seeks resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Designs and develops curriculum, integrating traditional classroom presentations, multimedia education, tutorials, and computer-assisted instructions.
- Determines instructional methods and produces learning based solutions (e.g., job aids, lesson plans / instructor guides and training manuals) that are simple, user friendly, and visual.
- Provides training to new and current employees : on-the-job training and refresher training, etc.
- Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training. Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
- Participates and collaborates with EPMO Leadership to develop goals / plans / budgets that align with division and company objectives and then manages to those expectations.
- Manages the department within budget guidelines.
- Recommends and participates in the development and implementation of process improvements that may extend beyond area of oversight, including multi-disciplined initiatives, and with the approval of Global Operations leadership.

101,685.00 - $151,435.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
