We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hair cutting techniques, styling, and customer service. As a Barber, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied with their look. Duties

• Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
• Utilize various cutting techniques and tools, including straight razors, to achieve desired styles.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Stay updated on current trends in hairstyles and grooming techniques to offer clients the latest styles.
• Use salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Assist in mentoring junior staff or interns by sharing expertise and best practices.
• Manage inventory of products used for services and assist with store management tasks as needed.
• Apply color theory knowledge when providing color services or consultations.

Qualifications

• Valid barbering license or certification from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Barber with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficient in various hair cutting techniques, including fades, trims, and styling.
• Knowledge of color theory is preferred for those interested in offering color services.
• Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Experience in makeup application is an advantage but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,500.00 per week

Expected hours: 15 – 36 per week
