What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at RGBSI?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calculating, posting, and reviewing financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records, including monthly general ledger closing
- Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
- Establishes, modifies, and coordinates implementation of and control procedures.
- Audits contracts, orders and vouchers; Assists in preparation of governmental surveys
- Preparation for financial statement audit
- Assigns duties and examines work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency
- Meets with internal Project Managers to collect information for use in monthly revenue recognition and accruals
- Conducts surveys of systems within operations to ascertain needs of organization
- Compiles data for use in cash flow forecasting
Requirements:
- CPA Required
- 2 Years of Public Experience
- Manufacturing/Automotive/Construction (Project Based)
- 8 Years of Experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree is Accounting or Finance
