What are the responsibilities and job description for the Formulation Technician/Laboratory position at RGBSI?
Job Location: 7405 Production Dr., Mentor, OH 44060
Position Type: contract( 6 months) with possible extension
Pay rate $30/hr on w2 with Benefits
- Be able to make batches of defined formulations with different kind of mixers.
- Be able to follow methodologies (ASTM and internal) to test different products (Adhesives and sealants) aligning with specific protocols.
- Be able to align with safety protocols in the laboratory and woodshop when preparing specimens for testing * Follow the stablished procedures for the 5S program, by being part of the team and contributing to the success of the program Follow the requirements (Do’s and not do’s) of Safety Lab. (Safety First) Be able to handle power tools, (Drill, different kind of saws, routers, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, Your skills (requirements of position. incl. digital skills if applicable) * Laboratory procedures (Hands on) Documentation in electronic/physical lab notebooks 5S program * Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, One note etc.) Statistics IP Intellectual property
Responsibilities: * Adopting and contributing to KPIs for innovation acceleration NPI24, NPI60, etc.) * Able to leverage our digital Product Development platform using it in a daily basis, as a Batch & Task performer * Be an active player on a Cross-training and training of team across technologies * Lab quality (calibration, certification, …) co-responsibility * Being a role player on 5S and Lab Safety programs for Product Development
