Job Location: 385 Southwood Court, Bowling Green, KY 42101-7513 Position Type: 12 Months Contract with possible extension Pay Rate $23/hr with benefits Shifts Position will train on Day Shift, 8am-4:30pm, Mon – Friday – training will last 4-8 weeks (depends on the person) After training, Position will move to 2nd shift schedule – 2pm – 10:30pm, Sun – Thurs or Tues – Sat Education: * Bachelor’s degree in science field or relevant work experience Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year experience with microbiological testing required * Skilled in use of PC software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Experience with SAP, relevant ISO standards, and/or auditing preferred * Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities * Experience with hygienic sampling & hygienic plating required Responsibilities: * Finished product and raw material testing * Gram-staining * Stocking of inventory, media, and reagents, managing laboratory waste * Environmental monitoring including testing process water, air sampling, and swabbing of equipment (limited) * Plate reading and communication of results
