Job Location: 385 Southwood Court, Bowling Green, KY 42101
Position Type: 12 Months Contract with possible extension
Pay Rate $23/hr with benefits Shifts
Position will train on Day Shift, 8am-4:30pm, Mon – Friday – training will last 4-8 weeks (depends on the person) After training,Position will move to 2nd shift schedule – 2pm – 10:30pm, Sun – Thurs or Tues – Sat
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in science field or relevant work experience
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience with microbiological testing required
Skilled in use of PC software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with SAP, relevant ISO standards, and/or auditing preferredAbility to work on multiple projects and prioritiesExperience with hygienic sampling & hygienic plating required
Responsibilities:
Finished product and raw material testingGram-stainingStocking of inventory, media, and reagents, managing laboratory wasteEnvironmental monitoring including testing process water, air sampling, and swabbing of equipment (limited)Plate reading and communication of results

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
