Job Summary:
We are hiring a Quality Manager to lead and improve our quality systems and ensure that all products meet internal and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manufacturing quality management, including working with machining and die casting processe
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality department and oversee day-to-day quality operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Manage internal audits, customer audits, and third-party audits.
- Monitor product and process quality, using data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee PPAP submissions, control plans, and other quality documentation.
- Communicate quality performance and concerns to leadership and customers.
- Train and mentor quality team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in a quality role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
- Strong knowledge of machining and die casting manufacturing processes.
- Experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive customer requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Automotive industry background.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience working with suppliers and customer quality teams.
