Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring installation techniques and a strong understanding of related trades. This role involves working in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their flooring needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to ensure seamless transitions between flooring types.
- Execute drywall repairs as necessary during the installation process.
- Conduct water damage restoration when required to maintain the integrity of flooring installations.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to accurately install flooring according to specifications.
- Carry out fixture installations related to flooring projects, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related trades such as remodeling or maintenance person services.
- Proficiency in buffing techniques for floor care maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of tile laying methods and materials.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $19.98 - $21.84 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
