Schedule : FullTime Day Shift (7 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team. In this role you will evaluate plan and implement individualized treatment programs for patients collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
Youll also supervise and delegate tasks to licensed physical therapist assistants technicians and other support staff. If you are passionate about patient care and rehabilitation wed love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on physical therapy principles and practices.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to assistants technicians and support staff while monitoring their performance.
- Ensure proper use of rehabilitation equipment to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Licenses / Certifications :
- Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas (or eligibility for licensure).
- BLS certification (required before initiating patient contact).
- Valid Texas Drivers License (for individuals designated as drivers per policy).
- Skills :
- Proficiency in rehabilitation equipment usage.
- Ability to input data into computer programs accurately.
