As a PACU Recovery Room RN , you'll play an essential role in post-anesthesia patient care. Using your expertise, you will monitor and assess patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.Monitor patients post-surgery, interpreting vital signs and responding to changes in condition.Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and team members.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to the Texas Nurse Practice Act standards.Who Were Looking For
Education : Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree).Experience : Open to new graduates; PACU or recovery experience is a plus.Licenses / Certifications :Active RN license.Current CPR-BCLS certification.ACLS & PALS (required within 30 days of hire).Skills :Ability to handle confidential information professionally.Strong critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced recovery environment.Professional demeanor and communication.Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on-call .What We Offer
