Job Title: Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Registered Nurse
Location: Full Time, Day Shift (Monday - Friday)
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 annually
Relocation Assistance: $5,000

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The PD RN will be responsible for delivering peritoneal dialysis therapies to patients with chronic renal failure. You will also provide essential education to patients, training them on proper dialysis techniques to ensure the success of their treatments. As part of a collaborative healthcare team, you will work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes while adhering to the nursing process and standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer peritoneal dialysis therapies to patients with chronic renal failure.
- Educate patients on the proper techniques for peritoneal dialysis to ensure high-quality treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Deliver individualized care based on the nursing process and scientific nursing principles.
- Maintain accurate records and input patient data into relevant computer systems.
- Participate in committee activities and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold professional standards in accordance with nursing regulations and the Nurse Practice Act.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience, with a minimum of 6 months working with ESRD patients in a dialysis setting (including 6 months of self-care training in hemodialysis or PD).
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR-BLS certification.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in therapeutic equipment and data input.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing processes and the ability to provide care based on accepted standards.
