Job Summary:
As Associate Controller for RH Aero Systems, you are responsible for overseeing corporate consolidated, and U.S., financial statements, that are timely, accurate and compliant. Key leadership responsibilities include:
1) Accounting processes and month-end close for foreign and domestic entities
2) Audit management and internal controls,
3) Tax management across VAT/GST, local/state/federal filings, duties/tariffs, and transfer pricing,
4) Business Partnership, and
5) Managing the Accounting Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting - leading month end and year end close, compiling monthly and annual financial reports from U.S. and global financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. Reviewing financial statements to determine the company’s financial health and taking action accordingly.
- Internal Controls and Audit Management - ensuring that the company complies with regulations, identifying and mitigate accounting process and audit compliance risks. You will be the key liaison with auditors, bankers and international operations. Your policies will guide accounting operations throughout the Company.
- Tax requirements - implementing policies and procedures for timely, accurate, compliant financial reporting, audits and local, state, federal tax filings,
- Business Partnership - partnering with operations across inventory management, fixed assets and depreciation. Partnering with HR across compensation, benefits, incentive plans, payroll, and insurance,
- Managing the Accounting Team – You will lead accounting managers and accounting department operations, developing a world class accounting organization, with 2 direct reports, and a team of approx. 4-5 people.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have a CPA and possess 10 years of work experience
- Global and U.S. GAAP accounting,
- Private Company, shareholder, acquisition and JV accounting, legal entity, IC-DISC, tax and transfer pricing structures,
- VAT/GST, duties/tariffs, import/export requirements,
- Royalties and license agreements
- SAP, Epicor, Adaptive or other top ERP systems
- Continuous improvement, digitization, automation and Artificial Intelligence
- Microsoft Office environment.
- You have an eye for continuous improvement and leverage technology to optimize processes, implement automation and drive productivity.
