Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This individual will work closely with the executive team, estimating, and operations to align business development strategies with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to generate new leads and opportunities.
Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients, architects, developers, and industry partners.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance business growth.
Research market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to drive strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with the preconstruction and operations teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
Represent RH Design-Build LLC at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and market influence.
Manage the proposal and RFP response process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective projects and regularly report on business development activities and results.
Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the commercial construction industry.
Strong understanding of design-build project delivery methods and commercial construction processes.
Proven track record of successfully generating leads and securing new business opportunities.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
