Position Overview:
The Leasing Coordinator supports the Leasing Manager in key aspects of the leasing process for our multifamily properties. This position requires excellent communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have some experience in leasing or administrative roles and be comfortable managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
The role focuses on assisting with leasing tasks and administrative duties to ensure a smooth leasing process. Familiarity with software such as Yardi, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is preferred. The Leasing Coordinator plays a supportive role in handling administrative details and maintaining organized digital records.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Support:
- Assist with lease application processing and documentation.
- Help prepare and process lease agreements, ensuring they meet company policies.
- Communicate with prospective tenants to gather necessary information for leasing.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform background checks and reference verifications.
- Maintain organized digital files for all leasing documents.
- Support accurate data entry into Yardi or similar property management software.
- Provide additional administrative assistance and support for special projects as needed.
Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a point of contact between the Leasing Manager and other team members.
- Communicate with prospective tenants about application status and next steps.
- Collaborate with onsite managers to gather required tenant documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leasing, administrative work, or related fields is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable using property management software and tools like Yardi and Excel.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy work environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive and supportive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.50 - $26.00 per hour
