As a Warehouse Clerk - Inventory, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of products within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include tracking, organizing, and managing inventory levels to support smooth warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff and management.
What You Bring:
Inventory Management:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Update and maintain inventory records using electronic inventory management systems.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments accurately.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of products for easy retrieval.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts.
- Identify and report discrepancies or damaged items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Data Entry and Documentation:
- Accurately record and maintain inventory data in spreadsheets, databases, or inventory management software.
- Generate inventory reports and provide them to management on a regular basis.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, such as receipts and shipments.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
Organization and Maintenance:
- Keep the warehouse organized and tidy, ensuring products are stored in designated locations.
- Use proper labeling and shelving techniques to facilitate efficient inventory retrieval.
- Assist in performing regular equipment and facility maintenance checks, reporting any issues promptly.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other warehouse staff to coordinate and prioritize inventory-related tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address inventory-related issues and provide updates.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.

Skills, Education, and Work Experience Required:

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and best practices.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
- Must have computer skills and able to utilize excel.
