What You Can Expect :
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the logistics operations within the warehouse. This position involves coordinating and optimizing the flow of goods coming into and leaving the warehouse. This position will be supervising a team of warehouse personnel, managing order fulfillment, and ensuring the timely and secure shipment of products to customers or other destinations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, including but not limited to, pickers, packers, and loaders.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds productivity and accuracy targets.
Order Fulfillment:
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment in accordance with customer requirements and shipping deadlines.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to prioritize and fulfill customer orders.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to ensure that products are readily available for order fulfillment.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy of outbound shipments.
- Conduct regular audits of outbound orders to identify and address any discrepancies.
- Address any quality issues or discrepancies with appropriate teams.
Shipping and Logistics:
- Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery.
- Verify shipping documentation, including packing lists and shipping labels, to guarantee accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Implement cost-effective shipping methods without compromising delivery timelines.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce order fulfillment lead times.
- Implement best practices and technology solutions to streamline warehouse logistics operations.
Communication:
- Maintain open communication channels with other departments, especially the Inbound Warehouse Supervisor, to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
- Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager on warehouse performance metrics, challenges, and improvements.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and other external partners.
Health and Safety:
- Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a secure working environment for warehouse personnel.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and inspections to mitigate risks.
Performance Metrics:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and productivity.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to manage stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstocks.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.

What You Bring:
Education & Work Experience Requirements / Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role in logistics.
- Strong understanding of outbound logistics processes and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
