What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at Rhinehart Finishing, LLC?
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
- Apply primer, paint and other coatings to satisfy customer requirements.
- Assure all products produced meets and exceed the expectations of the customers including quality, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain all paperwork associated with spray painting including production reports, booth inspections, mixing logs, traveling process sheets and product identification tags.
- Maintain all equipment associated with painting, including pressure pots, paint guns, paint hoses, paint booths, etc.
- Monitor and control proper disposal of paint related waste.
- Maintain housekeeping within all areas of the finishing facility including production areas, storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading the paint lines as required.
- Wears proper safety equipment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to wear a respirator per Spirometer testing.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related spray painting position. (Management review is required for exceptions)
- Must understand the proper operation and use of all related painting equipment including spray guns, paint pots, and spray booths.
- Must have the ability to learn all quality aspects of the operation that falls under the responsibility of the Spray Painter.

- Must be willing to work overtime as required to meet customer demands & arrive 15 minutes before the shift.
- Physical Movement: Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasionally climbing steps or ladders. Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and move 50 or more pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for eight or more hours. Using fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders manipulate paint guns and small tools such as, paint brushes, pencils, box cutters and tape.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
