Paint Mixer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing materials according to specified formulas and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various mixing techniques and the ability to operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently. The Mixer will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and consistency while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix materials based on established formulas and specifications.
• Operate mixing equipment, including airless paint sprayers and other industrial machinery.
• Conduct quality checks on mixed materials to ensure they meet required standards.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage and production processes.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize mixing processes and improve efficiency through lean manufacturing practices.
• Perform routine maintenance on mixing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols while handling materials and operating machinery.
• Assist in the fabrication of components as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience in construction painting, industrial painting, or auto painting is preferred.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and materials handling is a plus.
• Experience in Mixing of paints.
• Proficiency in airless paint spraying methods is an advantage.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly among team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
