Job Summary:
Responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of product and materials as well as for shipment of products leaving the facility.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform warehouse activities, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping
- Build and repair crates or pallets in order to pack outbound
- Utilize ERP system in a warehouse environment data input, order management, stock checking, etc.
- Ensure all paperwork is properly completed for inbound and outbound goods, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documents.
- Assist in the management of inventory, participating in locating, counting, and reconciling.
- Perform general building janitorial activities as necessary.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment to load and unload goods, as well as material in the warehouse.
- Perform in a fast paced environment, and capable of independent work as well as team efforts
- Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:

Education
- High School Diploma or GED

Work experience
- Minimum of two years of related experience in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to become certified in driving a forklift and pallet jack, experience is preferred
- Job specific attributes/skills
- Demonstrated strength with follow through

Ability to design and build crates for the overseas shipment of fragile goods and complex product geometry
- Ability to operate a variety of warehouse equipment such as basic power and hand tools, banding and packaging equipment, and other job required tools.
- Prior experience using ERP systems for warehouse activities
- Attention to detail, organized, and accurate
- Excellent verbal communication skills
