POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse, including managing a small team, overseeing all warehouse processes, and ensuring smooth coordination with the Inventory Manager and Integrator. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent leadership and team-building skills.
The position of Warehouse Supervisor is a regular (year-round, not seasonal) full-time salaried position. Rhinestones Unlimited is a seasonal business that consists of three distinct seasons: 1) Season: September through March, 2) High Season: January through Mid-March, and 3) Off Season: April through August. The Warehouse Supervisor is a member of the Core Team and the Product Team.

CORE TEAM
Our Core Team is a group of regular (year-round, not seasonal) part-time and full-time employees who cross trains and hold responsibilities for several operational functions. The Core Team meets weekly during the off-season of April through August and then as needed during the season of September through March.
PRODUCT TEAM
Our Product Team is responsible for launching new products, leading inventory counts, managing inventory discrepancies, discontinuing older slow-moving products, and warehouse organization. Along with the Integrator and Inventory Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will help lead this team and manage projects during the off-season of April through August and then as needed during the season of September through March.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing and holding accountable a team of 1-4 regular (year-round) and seasonal part-time employees. Build and maintain a positive and productive work environment with the following accountabilities.
Warehouse Operations:
- Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet operational needs.
- Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Supplies and print material purchasing.
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work in the off-season to recommend, review and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Inventory Management:
- Collaborate closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Supervise regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
Reporting & Communication:
- Report directly to the Integrator and Leadership Team on warehouse performance and key metrics.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Seasonal Flexibility and Attendance:
- Consistent and punctual attendance is essential, including the ability to reliably get to work during Minnesota winter weather conditions.
- No more than two consecutive days off are approved during the high season months of January through mid-March. Extenuating circumstances need to be discussed well in advance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
Strong communication, leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Process Improvement experience is preferred
High school or equivalent (Required)
MN Driver's License (Required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Experience with E-Commerce platforms and Inventory Management software preferred
Ability to lift 20-40 lbs. and climb ladders.

HOURS: Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays seasonally, January – March
Off-Season (April – August) 9 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday
Season (September – November) 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday
High Season (January-Mid-March) 8AM – 5 PM or 6 PM, Monday through Friday plus occasional Saturdays 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
