This a second-shift position from 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm. This role receives a $1.00 shift differential.
As a Sanitation Team Member, you'll play a vital role in our daily operations, including:
- Performing diverse tasks to sanitize, assemble, and set up production equipment.
- Maintaining meticulous records to ensure top-tier food safety.
- Adhering to established sanitation standards and procedures, which may involve working with chemicals, hot water, and heavy equipment.
- Participating in our safety program, which includes stretching exercises, lockout/tagout procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Actively engaging in various training programs, such as on-the-floor sanitation training, food safety, personal safety, and more.
Requirements
What It Takes to Be a Rhino:
- Mechanical aptitude to handle production equipment according to verbal and written procedures.
- Proactive communication skills to express ideas, address issues, propose solutions, and analyze situations effectively.
- The ability to balance thorough cleaning and sanitizing with maintaining a fast pace.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with co-workers and achieve team goals.
- Dedication to our company's purpose and principles, with active participation in company, staff, and other meetings.
- Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills, particularly for tasks involving weighing, measuring, and operating equipment according to detailed procedures.
- Physical fitness to perform essential job functions, including lifting (up to 50 lbs. with assistance), extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and working in a freezer environment.
