Job Description
Rhino Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist with CT experience for a contract assignment in Grantsburg, WI. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Responsibilities:
- Completing patients' intake process, taking histories, preparing, and educating patients about imaging procedures.
- Reviewing patients' charts and doctors' notes before examinations, maintaining records during and after procedures.
- Preparing radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic images, positioning patients and equipment for clear captures.
- Monitoring patients, ensuring their safety during imaging procedures, calibrating equipment for optimal results.
- Logging image results, developing film, assisting with radiograph interpretation, consulting with radiologists for additional images.
- Maintaining equipment sterility, storage, reporting failures, coordinating with radiology to schedule procedures.
- Staying up-to-date on current radiology practices, adapting to new technologies, and protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in radiography or radiologic technology.
- Wisconsin State license and certification to practice radiology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to operate and understand radiographic technology and equipment.
- The physical stamina to stand for long periods, operate heavy machinery without assistance.
