Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) for a full-time contract at an onsite employee health clinic in Jasper, IN. Opportunity Details:
- Location: Jasper, IN
- Contract Type: Medical Assistant (MA) Contract
- Assignment Dates: March 24 - May 10, 2025
- Shift Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- One Saturday per Month: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (4/12 & 5/10)
- 1-Hour Lunch Break
- Compensation: Competitive Weekly Pay
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Preventative & Wellness Care for employees and their families.
- No OB, no Pediatrics under age 2.
- Low patient volume: 2-2.5 patients per hour.
- No insurance billing or reimbursements—patients receive care at no cost.
- Assist with routine screenings, vaccinations, and wellness exams.
- Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy, vitals, lab specimen collection.
- Maintain EMR documentation in eClinicalWorks.
- Work closely with 2 Medical Assistants per provider to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Active CPR or BLS certification.
- Phlebotomy/Venipuncture skills required.
- Strong patient care skills, medical terminology knowledge, and EMR proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- No travel required—local candidates highly preferred.
